Just a short drive, or for some is walking distance with the new sidewalk along the road, to the heart of St Jean with its shops, restaurants and the beach. Villa Case Thalie is situated in a prime location and offers impressive views including sunsets. On windless days, airplanes may fly just overhead, but this is part of the St Barts experience and should not discourage anyone from staying at this gorgeous house, because it truly is a little gem. From the large parking area behind the gate, a door leads into the beautifully landscaped gardens that surround the house with an outdoor kitchen and grill in front. The cozy main room includes a modern, fully-equipped kitchen and a small living room, that can either be air-conditioned, or fully opened up to allow the Caribbean breeze to flow through the space, while screens on both sides can keep pesky bugs out. A spacious bedroom is just off the living room with a U.S. king-sized bed, U.S. and French satellite, and Netflix, closet space and a work desk, and an ensuite bathroom with both tub and shower. As a bonus, a large outdoor shower is situated in the garden behind the room. Just outside the living room is the covered dining area, which can also be fully-screened off. The deck leads into a small, but heated infinity pool with jets and bubbles; perfect to watch the sunset from the pool with a drink. Below the pool are two separate areas, one with loungers, and the other with chairs. Villa Case Thalie is a perfect honeymoon suite or villa for couples looking for a romantic getaway close to the action and beaches of St. Jean, and comes with housekeeping 6 days a week, not including public Holidays.
